The whitetails in our preserve are in heavily wooded rolling hills and ridges that go down into creek bottoms with deep draws every 100 to 125 yards. Your hunt will be in food plots where the deer come to feed early in the mornings or late in the evenings or in timber on trails that lead into their feeding areas.

We limit the number of deer to be harvested in our hunt area each year to ensure higher quality bucks year after year.

We usually limit each party to a maximum of 3 hunters. Your party will have exclusive use of the hunting area. Their will be no other hunts during your stay.

Each hunter must be accompanied by a guide. In addition to providing you with a safe and successful hunt, it is your guide's responsibility to pre-evaluate your trophy. Hunters will pay for any animal shot or wounded.

The trophy fee includes three day hunting. If our guides fail to get you a reasonable shot, we will provide you a fourth day of hunting at no charge.

So far everyone who has hunted with Cougar Ridge Whitetails has been very satisfied with what they have harvested. Cougar Ridge Whitetails has harvested several bucks that have been shown on "The American Trophy Hunter" Tv Show.

Meals and Lodging are included and a cooler is available for animals shot.

If you want to experience a once in a lifetime hunt and see some magnificent whitetails, we can provide the opportunity. Arrangements can also be made to process your meat and have your trophy mounted.
